Half Moon Bay

Roger and I enjoyed a whole week to ourselves at the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay, California. It was our first trip without kiddos in five and a half years, well almost... we still had the littlest one with us, but babies are the least amount of work when they are still 'inside!' Anyways, for me it was great week of doing nothing.... no laundry, cooking, cleaning, errand running etc. I read four books, "Keeper of the Bees" by Gene Straton-Porter, being the BEST read EVER! Also, had fun going to shops with breakable things :) and taking my time browsing all the cool stores downtown... As for Roger, he was in meetings each day from 7:30am till 5pm so it wasn't as much of a vacation for him as it was for me. However, we did get to spend an afternoon in San Francisco at the Wharf (saw Alcatraz) and another afternoon hiking at Purrissima Creek Park. It was really nice to have time for just the two of us and no interruptions. Thanks Mom and Dad for taking such good care of the kids for us! I know it was a memorable week for them. A big thanks to Dad for having all three children.... by himself... for THREE days!
